Delivery by ship
As the only site of the Pfeifer Group, shipment can be used in Uelzen also for the delivery of round timber. We produce yearly from 450,000 linear metres of round timber, sawn timber, pallet blocks and green power in Uelzen.

1991
The beginning
By laying the foundation stone for the saw plant and the block production, in Uelzen begins the history of the industrial timber production.
2006
Investment and renovation
The modernisation of the saw mill brings Uelzen to the newest stand of the saw technique.

Pfeifer acquisition
The production plants in Uelzen are acquired by the Pfeifer Group.

100% recycling
With the creation of a biomass heating plant, Pfeifer pursues also in Uelzen the strategy of a closed recycling and added value chain.

Modernisation and expansion
Pfeifer invests in the Uelzen site: New drying chambers are built, the warehouse surfaces are expanded.

Under the sign of sustainability
Construction of the waste wood recycling plant for the reprocessing of discarded wood into waste wood chips, which are returned to the cycle in the form of press pads for wooden pallets By 2024, Pfeifer is investing 50 million euros in the modernisation and safeguarding of the site.
