Sustainably cultivated forests
The PECF guarantee
PEFC: Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes, (deutsch: Zertifizierungssystem für nachhaltige Waldbewirtschaftung PEFC) is the world largest organisation ensuring a sustainable forest management.
The following standards apply
- Mixed forests made of local tree species are preserved or expanded.
- Deforestation is essentially not carried out
- An adequate deadwood reserve remains preserved
- In case of use of machines, the soil is particularly taken care of
- The use of pesticides is to be avoided (report required!)
- Safeguarded biotopes and protected areas as well as endangered animal and plant species must be particularly respected

Controlled acquisition of goods
The acceptance of round timber takes place according to Austrian habits. Regularly controlled and calibrated measuring systems and controlled round timber selectors guarantee the plant takeover according to the Directives of the forest timber paper (FHP). Certified experts monitor the process regularly.
Rapid acquisition and payment process
Pfeifer delivers the protocol of wood acquisition the day after delivery and measurement.
