Clean power
Tree bark is processed in our own five biomass-power plants in Kundl (A), Unterbernbach, Uelzen, Lauterbach (D) and Chanovice (CZ) into CO2-neutral heat and power of 295 millions kilowatt hour.
The exhaust heat is used to dry sawn timber and sawdust is used for the pellet and block production. The rest is fed into the public utility grid as renewable eco-electricity. For example, in Kundl they are about 55 millions kWh.
This quantity corresponds to the consumption of about 12,000 families.
